Sunny November day / CT pet photographer

November 18, 2010

Can you believe it: It is in the middle of NOVEMBER and I had my breakfast outside this morning – while the dogs where out running and playing on the porch. Then we were off to the beach for a nice walk and play time. Puppy Elvis found a funny twisted shell – covered in small shells. Enjoy these beautiful moments with us!

A stick is ALWAYS a great chew toy – this reminds me a little of Beauty and the Beast *wink*

I came across your blog tonight. I must admit, I read all your blogs. I’m not a big fan of farm animals, but I love the pics of the dogs. I’m a dog lover. The pics remind me of my own dog.

I guess you could say my dog was a rescued pup, although it never made it to a shelter. A stray came to our house and had pups. When we found the runt cold and stiff, but still alive, I couldn’t just leave her there to die. I warmed her up and took care of her. I named her Lucky because I felt she was lucky we had found her. Before she turned six months old, she had another bit of luck. With the vets help, I nursed her through Parvo. She’s now four and a half years old, happy, and healthy. On another note, my sister ended up adopting the stray and we found homes for all the pups.

I also love taking pet photos. Everytime my dog does something cute, I grab the camera. Good luck with finding Elvis a home. Keep the photos coming, I’m loving your blog.

Thanks for sharing this story – it is very touching! And yes – I’ll keep the photos coming. Look out for a new post this weekend (I just got a new foster puppy – soooo cute! and I have a scheduled pet photo shoot on Sunday). Have a fantastic weekend.
